SHORT DESCRIPTION
The VP for BOT Defense will spearhead innovation in BOT management solutions, driving growth and establishing F5 as a category leader in the market.

The VP will leverage our strong foundation to build a world class BOT Defense offering. By integrating AI capabilities and differentiated analytics and delightful user experiences the leader will bring to life new innovations in our industry leading BOT management solutions, further enabling increased customer adoptions and accelerated ARR growth (i.e. new segments, new markets), and increased net revenue retention. Above all the leader will take ownership of the business’ P&L to drive growth that surpasses market trajectory.
- Take full ownership of the P&L and drive above market average growth and establish F5’s BOT defense solution as a category leader.
- Engage closely with current and prospective customers to increase usage and adoption of our BOT defense products and maximize the value to customers based on customer context and desired customer outcomes.
- Be a thought leader in BOT defense, fraud, authentication and identity markets, and shape the roadmap of our future looking offers.
- Partner with Engineering to drive world class execution of the product roadmap, including: defining our platform architecture and standards; building consistent processes; harnessing test and data-driven approaches; and delivering high-quality, high-impact work.
- Work closely with specialist sales and field sellers to radiate the unique value proposition, sales approaches, customer journey dynamics and methodologies to drive customer adoption and usage of the different BOT defense offerings.
- Work with Product Marketing to develop a clear and compelling Marketing Strategy for our products, including building awareness of our unique Fraud, Identity, and Authentication capabilities; help develop the pricing and packaging strategy.
- Build and scale a world-class Product Management organization that product managers crave to be a part of to develop their skills and grow their careers.
- Evangelize our value proposition, differentiation and approach to the BOT defense problem space through industry presence, including webinars, field events, conferences, etc.
- Drive thought leadership in incorporating AI driven capabilities into our BOT defense offerings and integrating with the rest of Web App and API protection offers.
- Engage with fraud and identity executives at a thought leadership level; become a valuable asset in helping drive momentum on customer engagements, and as a result, sales teams should be inviting you to their customer meetings often.

- Expertise in empowering and instilling confidence in cross-functional teams such as Sales, Global Services, Customer Support, etc to deliver on the common mission.
- Skilled at partnering with VP and C-level executives in driving business decision-making and product road mapping.
- Ability to combine both internal user data and customer insights to help map the product experience.

Qualifications
- 10+ years leading product management teams within B2B SaaS, PaaS or IaaS companies.
- 10+ years analyzing products, customers and market dynamics.
- Proven track record of driving product growth and success at scale in enterprise security solutions.
- Demonstrated ability to create and execute detailed GTM plans that drive fast growth and sustained sales and revenue.
- 7 years of experience managing, or engineering technology products preferred.
- Specific experience (5+ years) focused on BOT Defense, Fraud, Identity, Authentication software products and related technologies.
- Domain expertise in BOT management solutions.
- BA/BS degree required, MBA a plus.
