Job Description
U.S. Bank’s Merchant Payment Services is seeking a Senior Vertical Revenue Marketing Leader for our North American business. The role holder will define and drive the execution of our demand marketing strategy for Enterprise segments as well as aspects of our Small Business marketing strategy. This role functions as a domain expert in demand generation for MPS for prioritized segments, clearly identifying key customer needs and marketing opportunities and translating this into lead generation, retention and expansion campaigns that drive top-line revenue growth.
Responsibilities include:
Strategic Leadership: Lead the development and execution of multi-channel demand generation, customer retention and expansion strategies, aligning with overall marketing and sales objectives for prioritized verticals (e.g., Hospitality, Healthcare, Retail, Services, Public Sector). Implement account based marketing programs aligned with sales, product and marketing goals.
Campaign Management: Oversee the design, execution, and optimization of inbound and outbound campaigns across various channels (email, webinars, SEO, SEM, social media, and in person events, etc.). Drive sales and banker enablement in support of these campaigns.
Lead Nurturing: Design and optimize lead nurturing programs, aligning content and messaging to guide prospects through the buyer’s journey from awareness to conversion.
Industry-specific value propositions and marketing: Develop and execute account, segment and field based marketing strategies focused on industry specific value propositions and thought leadership as well as product centered use cases.
Data and Analytics: Establish KPIs and performance metrics to track, measure, and optimize campaign effectiveness; provide regular reporting and insights to the executive team.
Budget Management: Oversee the demand generation budget for segment, ensuring efficient allocation of resources across channels and programs for maximum ROI.
Technology & Tools: Leverage the martech stack and ABM tools to refine and target the ideal customer profile and personas.
Team Leadership and Collaboration: Build, manage, and mentor a high-performing demand generation team for key segments, including enterprise verticals. Work in close partnership with Revenue teams (Sales, Bankers), Product Marketing, Product Management and other Marketing functional to ensure a seamless go-to-market approach.
- Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience
- 10 or more years of related experience in marketing and marketing strategy with proven ability to deliver results

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, U.S. Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401(k) contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Pay Range: $126,820.00 - $149,200.00 - $164,120.00U.S. Bank will consider qualified applicants with arrest or conviction records for employment.
