QUALIFICATIONS
Law degree in good standing with the state bar, expected graduate from a partnered law firm, a GPA of 3.0 or higher, and ability to work full-time without restrictions.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Review and update legal documents, conduct research, monitor legislative trends, manage manual and digital repositories, coordinate legal meetings, and support process improvement initiatives.

SHORT DESCRIPTION
As a legal fellow at Wabtec, you will engage with corporate executives, assist with internal legal matters, collaborate with lawyers, and receive mentorship while contributing to various legal projects.
- Reviewing, updating Powers of Attorney; Non-Disclosure Agreements; leases, first-level review of agreements
- Research and collect data
- Review legislative trends including updating advice obtained from external counsel and communicate these to the legal team and implement an early warning system
- Update manual and digital repositories with latest materials
- Promote frequent use of repositories to ensure user awareness of key information and documents.
- Schedule, coordinate and/or attend legal meetings, trainings and events
- Support the legal team in process improvement initiatives, in line with current business challenges
- Undertake and arrange training on the materials prepared for the benefit of the business and perform other ad-hoc activities as required
- Law degree and in good standing with the state bar
- Expected graduate of one of our partnered law firms for this program
- GPA greater than or equal to 3.0/4.0 Overall
- Authorized to work in one's country full-time without restrictions
- Ability to independently prioritize multiple tasks and work to meet deadlines
