Your Role at KIK

As a Warehouse Supervisor, your primary focus will be to supervises the receiving, storing, packing and shipping areas. In addition, you will be required to lead and direct the work of the warehouse staff member including temporary employees.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Supervises the receiving, storing, packing, and shipping of merchandise or materials
  • Leads and directs the work of warehouse employees including temporary employees in peak season.
  • Communicate & Implement change as directed.
  • Provide leadership by establishing clear expectations and demonstrating high standards of work practices and safety conscious behavior.
  • Stand in for the Manager during Holidays / Sickness as required.
  • Plan and coordinate labor accordingly to minimize overtime.
  • Ability to have a flexible work schedule including longer hours during peak season.
  • Report any issues and/or concerns to Manager in a timely manner.
  • Contribute to department and organization special projects as assigned.
  • Maintains Housekeeping and Inspection Records

What You’ll Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or years of experience
  • 5 years experience in Warehousing, LTL, Receiving, and Inventory Control in a fast paced picking facility.
  • Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures.
  • Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
  • Must be proficient in MS Office applications including Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • JD Edwards (E1) and SAP required
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Demonstrated people skills and passion for leading in a team environment.
  • Bilingual in Spanish a preferred
  • Lean and/or Six Sigma experience required
  • Forklift certified
  • Excellent written/verbal communications and strong analytical/problem solving skills.

We understand compensation is an important factor as you consider the next step in your career. This position has a base salary range of $66,000 - 73,000 plus eligibility for a quarterly incentive bonus. The actual salary may vary based upon several factors including, but not limited to, relevant skills/experience, time in the role, business line, and geographic/office location
