Job Overview:

The Wind Creek Rewards (WCR) Specialist creates and maintains promotion execution methods and prize creations to ensure successful on property promotions. This is a corporate position that works to ensure that the corporate marketing, property promotions, and casino marketing teams are properly informed and prepared to support and evaluate promotional activities wherever they occur. The WCR Specialist reports to the WCR Promotions Program Supervisor.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Creates, maintains, and communicates promotion set ups and prize creation based on property promotional plans
  • Collaborates with property promotion teams to learn goals and gain understanding of promotion needs to ensure correct set up and execution tactics
  • Maintains a working knowledge of Wind Creek's Social Gaming Platforms, CMP, PLS, EBS, Kiosk Management and PMT to ensure the successful operation of on property promotions and the loyalty program and its marketing and operational communication mechanisms
  • Understands the customer reinvestment structure to ensure proper channel delivery of promotional prizes and player entitlements to our rewards members both online and on-property
  • Assists with interfaces to direct marketing, property marketing, and online marketing teams to ensure coordination and alignment of promotional efforts with other marketing offers as appropriate
  • Assists with providing information relevant to promotional lists and criteria via CMP, PLS, EBS or SQL
  • Provides operational staff with timely and relevant information relating to upcoming and current promotion set-ups to ensure proper execution based on promotional goals
  • Assists on property promotion team with promotion execution as needed
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Job Requirements: (please ensure you meet the listed requirements prior to applying)

  • High School diploma or GED required or currently enrolled and successfully complete a GED program within 6 months from start date as a condition of continued employment
  • Associate's Degree in Related field (Marketing or Computer Science) - required
  • OR One (1) year experience in Tracking Systems, preferably Casino based programs, primarily dealing with promotional programs or task development and execution programming - required
  • OR Two (2) years' experience as a Promotions Coordinator or above with Wind Creek Hospitality - required
  • Two (2) years' experience in a Casino environment- preferred
  • Exemplary positive people skills, good humor, and projection of a high level of professionalism (Will be judged, scored, and ranked during the interview process) - required
  • Proficient with Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel (skills test may be administered and applicant must score 70%) - required
  • Customer Engagement and Advertising experience- preferred
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Content Management software
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment, and be able to prioritize multiple tasks & assignments while meeting deadlines.
  • Possess excellent analytical, organizational, problem-solving, critical thinking and decision-making skills
  • Possess excellent verbal and creative writing skills
  • Willing to travel and participate in training as recommended or required
  • Willing to work odd and irregular hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Must have, or the ability to obtain, the required gaming license issued by the governing authority in the region/state of the property assignment as a requirement for this position
  • Must have willingness and ability to work in a smoke/secondary smoke environment.
