About the Role

Rhode Island Novelty is looking for a talented Web Content Specialist to join our growing team. The Web Content Specialist is a dynamic role in the marketing department with a particular focus on managing the visual and organizational state of our B2B webstores for multiple companies. This is an in-person position that works as a part of the marketing team and reports to the marketing manager.

Core Responsibilities

• Item categorization for 3 websites
• Creating custom landing pages
• Copy writing
• Management of digital asset calendar
• Category Auditing and optimization
• Digital assets/graphic design a major plus
• Willingness to work in a support role for other team members

• SEO and Online Visibility: Search engine optimization is crucial to ensure that Rhode Island Novelty’s website ranks well in search engine results. The specialist should be knowledgeable about SEO practices and how to optimize content for relevant keywords.
• Understanding of Wholesale Dynamics: As Rhode Island Novelty operates in the wholesale space, the content specialist should understand wholesale pricing, bulk orders, and the challenges that businesses face when sourcing products in bulk.
• Collaboration and Communication: Effective communication and collaboration are essential, especially if the content specialist will work closely with the sales team, product managers, and designers.
• Attention to Detail: Ensuring accuracy and consistency in all content produced, minimizing errors and inaccuracies.
• Multichannel Copy: Experience in writing copy for various marketing channels, including websites, email marketing, social media, and print materials.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
