Wholesale Coordinator

QUALIFICATIONS
Associate degree in business, marketing, economics, or related field preferred; sales experience and experience in the cannabis industry preferred; excellent customer service and communication skills; experience with distributor management; competency in Microsoft applications.

Handle day-to-day sales operations, process invoices, input sales orders, organize wholesale menus, support technology for partners, coordinate data management, provide customer service, and conduct sales administration.

SHORT DESCRIPTION
The Wholesale Coordinator will support the Director and regional teams in customer service for major accounts, data management, and sales administration in a fast-paced environment.
Reporting to: Director, Wholesale
Position Overview:
The Wholesale Coordinator (the “Coordinator”) will work with the Director, Wholesale and regional wholesale team members to provide customer service for major accounts. The Coordinator will follow SOPs (standard operating procedures) and support data management and sales administration. The Coordinator must understand the sales process and possess superb interpersonal skills. Imperative to the success of this role is working as a collaborative member of the team, as well as the ability to deliver results in a fast-paced environment where systems and processes are continuously evolving.
Major Areas of Responsibility include:
- Handling day-to-day sales operations to support local teams.
- Processing invoices and partnering with AP and other internal stakeholders on payment.
- Input sales orders.
- Organize and distribute Wholesale menus.
- Supporting technology for partners to purchase bulk goods.
- Coordinating data management.
- Providing customer service and support for accounts.
- Conducting sales administration.
- Providing administrative support to Wholesale team members.
Minimum Qualifications (Skills, Knowledge & Abilities):
- All applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
- Associate degree in business, marketing, economics, or related field preferred.
- Sales experience and experience in the cannabis industry preferred.
- Commitment to excellent customer service.
- Experience with distributor management and contract/vendor negotiation preferred.
- Knowledge of marketing strategies and CRM (customer relationship management).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Superb interpersonal skills, including the ability to quickly build rapport with both customers and suppliers.
- Ability to work independently in a highly organized manner with limited direction.
- Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook. Experience using computers for a variety of tasks.
- Able to work comfortably in a fast-paced environment.
Travel: 10%
FLSA status: Non-exempt
Pay: $22 - $25/hr + benefits
- This job operates in an office setting and is largely sedentary, requiring the routine use of a computer and other standard office equipment. The ability to lift or move up to 5 pounds, bend, reach, and perform manual tasks may also be required.
