QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Business, Communication, Education, Engineering, or related fields, and two years of experience in training, education, or related area. Preferred qualifications include experience in training coordination, knowledge of OSHA Education Center requirements, and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage and oversee operations of the OSHA Education Center, coordinate training programs, ensure compliance with OSHA requirements, monitor training effectiveness, and provide administrative support including budgeting and reporting.

SHORT DESCRIPTION
The Workforce Coordinator- OSHA is responsible for coordinating training programs to enhance workplace safety and compliance with OSHA regulations while supporting instructors and students.
Position Information
- Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Business, Communication, Education, Engineering, or related fields;
- Two (2) years of experience in training, education, research or related area.
- Experience in training coordination or program management.
- Knowledge of OSHA Education Center requirements, regulations and safety standards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software.

- Develop, implement, and manage OSHA training programs and courses.
- Reporting/Coordinating with OTE in Chicago and Consortium Partners.
- Coordinate schedules, logistics, and resources for training sessions.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for students, instructors, and external partners.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and make improvements as needed.
- Maintain accurate records of training attendance, certifications, and compliance.
- Assist in the development of marketing materials to promote OSHA training offerings.
- Stay updated on OSHA regulations and best practices in safety training.
- Provide administrative support, including budgeting and reporting.
Positions in this class typically require: reaching, standing, walking, fingering, grasping, feeling, talking, hearing, seeing and repetitive motions.
Sedentary Work: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time. Walking and standing are required only occasionally.
